federal agencies, your school should have a school-wide policy about the
indirects. if it's foundation, and it only allows a very low indirect cost
rate, for example, Gates foundation only allows 10%, then you can negotiate
with school's budget staff to add more items to the direct cost, e.g. phone,
printing, space charge...it's an art. ;-) | x*****1

发帖数: 13752 | 6 我这里是47%。我知道有的公立学校是54%的。Top私立学校的overhead比例比这要高得
多，所以不用担心funding机构不答应。
有些特殊的funds是不愿意付overhead的，学校可以把它当然gift，不收overhead。学
校当然想收overhead，但对这样的funds一般会通融一下。
