下的可以做research的时间也不多了。不知道大家平时都是花多少时间在research上的
，一周大概要读多少paper,才能保持做research的劲头。
我是个新faculty,对即将开始的faculty生涯充满了不安。因为research是一个需要大
量投入精力和时间的活，很担心自己没有那么多精力和时间花在上面。 |

Faculty就是个Manager，工作就是写Proposal，和学生聊天，包装学生的文章，旅游（开会）等等。

junior faculty, especially when you are still at a stage of initializing a
research project.

I think your productivity is judged by the productivity of your students. It is very important for new faculty to find and train students quickly.
