The "improper" (but still commonly used) version would be: I told him
yesterday to not do his homework. This is not as proper as it splits the
infinitive "to do".
Either way, you will get your point across.

Yesterday (I) didn't do (my) homework
Yesterday (you) didn't do (your) homework... etc.
