I probably will have to dipute the Irish origin of Celts.
Celts as an ethnic group and cultural heritage predates Irish.
Linguistically, Celtic language is a branch of Indo-European language. Their
historical footprints extends as far east as Caspian sea (now encircled by
Russia, Azerbarjan, Iran, and Turkmenistan).
The group has splintered into multiple diverse but culturally affinitive
groups by 600 BC when they were first mentioned. They foreyed into Iberia,

French has Celtic origin, for example, is a known fact. Irish as an ethnic
group was established long after Celtic culture. To say Celtic is Irish is
similar in saying Aryans are Germans, if Aryans ever existed. |

The album is full of beautiful songs including "Amazing Grace, Dear Irish
Boy, Barbara Allen, Scarboro Fair, Greensleeves, Irish Star/Mari's Wedding,
Irish Lullaby, etc"
Cuz the instruments also include Scottish tom tom drums played with sticks,
I am not sure whether it is all about Irish music.

Greensleeves. This is actually an English folk song of around the time of
Henry VIII, the king who established the Anglican church. The tune is quite
mellow and slow. For music from that period, you may want to get hold of a
copy of 'English Madrigals' from your loca library. They are sung
unaccompanied. I have a copy at home and listen from time to time. In today'
s fast pace mode of life, they sound almost otherworldly.

I am more familiar with the song Scarborough Fair. I have three versions
sung by Sarah Brightman, Nana Mouskouri and the Celtic lady Rosalind
McAllister respectively.
