Health Impairment (OHI), too. If the behaviors are so severe that the
medical need supercedes educational need, you should consult with the family
and seek possible treatment facilities.
I don't think you can go too far as an individual service provider. It
really requires a team of psychologist, teachers, nurses, social workers and
parents. Usually, applied behavior analysis (ABA) can be utilized for

发帖数: 1034 | 4 你这个FAS的学生，既然智力是70，那么他应该符合Medicaid的DD Waiver的要求。我更
担心的是他18岁毕业以后的着落。我会去跟本地MEDICAID的OFFICE联系一下，看看他家
有没有给他申请DD WAIVER，有没有在registry里面，另外，还要等多少年才能等到
FUNDING ALLOCATION。Medicaid还有一个给有Brain Damage的人的funding,叫BISF，可
以两个Waiver同时申请。现在他是14岁，一般5年以内都能ALLOCATED吧。不过这种事情
一般是SCHOOL SOCIAL WORKER干的活。 |
