1. It's generally better decided beforehand than after things are done.
People tend to overestimate personal contribution, which is a common cogntive
biase that noone is really immune of. In another word, the sum of the
contributions estimated by you and your coauthors will be greater than
100%. Thus there is really no true proportion of contribution and the
distribution of authorship is a matter of manner than fair allocation.
