so the annual increase is 23.4%
considering that the total budget has been increaing by 16.5% on average
in recent 5 years, we get the annual increase of the percentage of
military expenditure in the budget-- 1.234/1.165-1=6%
the percentage for FY2000 is around 10%
so that's 10%*6%=0.6% increase in the total budget
i don't think that's something worth admiring or whatever fuss |
