developing advanced signal processing algorithms for cochlear implants. We
are seeking talented DSP/electrical engineers who can help implement new
signal processing algorithms on DSP platforms. The DSP/Electrical Engineer
will design, implement and validate a variety of speech and audio processing
algorithms to produce desirable stimuli for cochlear implants.
Responsibilities:
Report to the President and work collaboratively with team members in
Seattle-USA and Shanghai-China
Design and implement speech processing algorithms in assembly language/C
/MAtlab
Programming the ARM co-processor on a DSP chip
Perform simulations of speech/audio processing algorithms in Matlab
Provide assistance in product verification and validation to meet
medical device standards
Requirements:
BS, MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering/Biomedical Engineering or
related field
Familiar with speech and audio signal processing theories and
applications
At least 1 year of experience in assembly language programming
Extensive experience in using Matlab for digital filter design and
speech analysis
Knowledge of analog/digital circuits and Bluetooth technology
Strong knowledge of embedded systems/microprocessors, such as UART, DMA,
Interrupt Service Routine, SPI, and I2C etc.
Experience of programming ARM processors will be desired
Experience in programing On Semiconductor TI DSP/On Semiconductor Ezairo
DSP platforms will he highly preferred
Strong code debugging and problem solving skills
