简单说就是拿到第一个engineering/science学位十年内的可以申请。这个是Sensor
Council的。Award就一点小钱，在每年的IEEE Sensors会议上颁奖。通讯之类的就不用
考虑了。前年和去年的pool人数比较少，前年5个，去年10个吧。今年想多广告一下。
我看前两年没有一个国人，觉得很可惜，不过最终得奖的水平确实挺高，比我强n倍。
这个award就是写在resume上好看点。 |

IEEE Sensor Council is now accepting nominations for the 2012 Early Career
GOLD Award. Nomination forms and the further details about selection and
past recipients can be obtained at:

Please take a look at the details and inform members within your local IEEE
chapter or GOLD Affinity Group of the opportunity.
About the Award:
IEEE Early Career GOLD Award recognises the contributions of young GOLD
members in the sensor community. The award is carries a check of $1000 + $
1000 to support travel expenses to 2012 IEEE sensors Conference and a
citation, which will be presented at the conference in Taipei, Taiwan.
The Council's expects that the awardee's organization would hopefully help
with the awardee's travel expenses if our $1K travel funding won't suffice.
Nominations are due on the 15th of May, 2012. Nomination should be mailed to
Dr. Venkata Chivukula (c****************[email protected]). |
