esoterics.
Basically, the topology is a Lin 3-stage opamp: input stage (typically a
differential pair), VAS (typically SE), and output stage (complementary EF
current amplifier).
if you dive into it a little bit deeper, there are other types as well.
Check out Douglass Self or Sloan's books on audio power amps.
those amps cover about 99% of the amps in the market place today. the rest
falls into the following category:
