you withdraw it, you still did it.
Also giving up an approved I-140 for an F-1 may not be a very clever choice. |

Guys, don't give the wrong information if you don't know the law.
The USCIS will only check the F-1 Visa holder's immigration intention
OUTSIDE of US. As long as you are in the US and you never leave the US, you
can change to F1 even though you have immigration intention.
My wife is F1 and she has I140 approved 4 years ago. Her lawyer showed us
his law book and read the law word by word to us to let us know it's OK to
apply for I140 with F1 visa.
so, yes, you can. |
