it's better to apply for H1B visa stamp instead of using the combo card. My
H1B just extended.

发帖数: 416 | 7 Similar questions have been discussed many times here. So far that is what I
understand. Bottom line, AP is like a visa, if you use that entering US,
your visa status is no longer H-1B, it will be AOS, and if you want to
continue as H-1B, you will do one of these: 1) getting H-1B visa stamp, then
not using AP in the first place. 2) Do the COS (I don't know how exactly do
it yet). 3) Do the H-1B extension (In your case not an option since you
just extended it).
