在排期快到，律师让我走CP，请问成功的可能性有多大？
注：在美期间没有换过公司，原美国公司到时会提供所有支持材料，小孩是美国公民，
在美国有房产。老公没有绿卡。

Before May 1, 2010? It's better you get company's H1 and you return to US to
file I-485 in April and then leave after AP approval if you want. The PD
is expected to retrogress. If you do CP, you won't enjoy AOS benefits or
AC21 portability at all. | K********r

similar situation as yours. Want to stay in China and wait for GC. It seems
quite tricky and risky. I still haven't found a good solution yet.

发帖数: 8496 | 4 You don't have to work for the sponsor now, so it's doable. But if this
employer sponsor you do CP and get GC, you need to work for them for a while
after landed in US. If you don't work for them after you reenter US, this
will be a big flag when you apply for natualization.

wait for GC, after I submitted my I485 (EB2) and work more than 180 days at
the sponsor firm? Yesterday, they told me this is very risky. What will
USCIS will do when they know you are outside US and also left the firm?

发帖数: 321 | 6 我在中国的公司和美国工作的没有任何关系。
我的律师告诉我说美国雇主担保我将来的工作，所以和现在的公司，H1什么的没有多大
关系（没有非法居留等问题）
网上看了不少有关CP的帖子，但都是EB3非技术厨师，看那些厨师，从来没有去过美国
也都拿到绿卡了。
我现在手头还有一份没有过期的H1 APPROVAL NOTICE(797),在美国的公司也把我作为
UNPAID LEAVE处理，花名册上还有我的名字。
这里CP的案子太少，如果你有，分享一下吧。

发帖数: 8496 | 8 No, when you do CP, you are not protected by AC21 (which allows not to work
for original sponsor after 180 days of I-485), doing CP means when you
landed, you have to work for the I-140 sponsor. Maybe your option is not to
do CP, just to return to China with AP (from AOS pending) and maybe your I-
485 will get approval so you can use GC to go back to USA.
