“我目前是F-1 OPT状态，H-1B自10月1日生效。我计划在7月份申请I-485。我在9月份
要离开美国一趟。我能不能在美国领馆申请H-1B并且用H-1B回来？
可以。
那我的旅行影响我的I-485吗？
不一定。如果你用H-1B回来，那你的I-485就被认为是放弃了；如果你用回美证回来，
那你的I-485仍然有效。
我的情况和这个人有一点相似，我现在是h1B,准备6月底回国，8月份回来，如果我在4月或者5月交485的话，我就不能回国了？因为回国我的485就被认为放弃？？！
不是说h1B已经是有移民倾向的签证了，回国什么的不会受影响吗？

can come back with H1B visa.
However, your plan won't work as you are still in F1 status before Oct,
meaning your AOS is deemed abandoned if you leave the country before having
AP in hand.
