I have been watching this thread...and today I was talking to a friend whose
priority date is in 2009. We work for the same company and it is quite big
non-desi company. There was a conference call conducted for all people in my
company whose PD became current with the firm who provide immigration
related services to us so that they can get their doubts cleared. People
asked questions about retrogression and in attorney's opinion there is very
very less chance of a retrogression. He was of an opinion that EB-2 category
may even become current before any retrogression happens. This is same as
Ron's prediction in immigration voice (from the link posted by some one
previously in this thread). The law firm with whom my company takes services
is a very big one...and I know many big companies take their services (I
know it through my friends in other companies). So you can take this info
for what it is worth..But I would be the happiest person if their
predictions come true..
