我work full-time，同时take part-time MBA。On H-1B with I-485 pending，暂时不
想启用EAD。目前找到一个part-time internship，与MBA很相关，但与我full-time工
作关系不大。如何作这个intern是合法的呢？谢谢 |

发帖数: 23 | 3 Did you mean I get a second H-1B for my part-time intern? This is tough, because the company I want to intern for is a very very early stage startup where I report to CEO directly.
What if I do an unpaid intern, where I don't get any compensation (basically
a volunteering thing)? My main goal is to gain experience in the specific
job role I want to move into after I get my GC. I don't care if I get paid.
I just don't want to screw up my GC application (now in I-485 pending
stage).

in case my I-485 is denied for any reason. :( The intern position only
requires 12-16 hours per week.

immigration paperwork (e.g., H1B, EAD, ...)?

years, you can't do anything but the exact job you started GC application
years ago. People are not allowed to grow in their career, Hah?
How about doing the internship through school credits like independent study
, in which case I pay (believe it or not) for the credits in order for me to
work as an intern?

发帖数: 3693 | 9 You need CPT for that, but you can't qualify for it without F1 status.
Just use your EAD, plenty of people are doing that.
