Left the company on 12/20/10. Applied EAD on the same day.
看网上好多人都被RFE了。什么样的情况下会被RFE？Random吗？还是移民局知道我丢了
工作，会查我？
要是被RFE了怎么办？
怎么能快点拿到EAD ? 这年头，几乎没人sponsor H1B。。。

发帖数: 749 | 3 Your priority date will not be current at least before August or September in 2011. Generally speaking, USCIS will not touch your files and send any REF letter to you before your priority date becomes current. So just keep silent and try your best to find a new job in this period. Even if you don't find a new job when your priority is current, USCIS may still send the green card to you without any REF letter.The chance is there. I lost my job when my I485 was pending. The previous employer revoked my H1B by informing USCIS. I thought I would definitely receive a REF letter before they approved my I485. But they sent green cards to me without any REF letter. So don't be that nervous. You will be fine.

at least submitted your I485 and you are still legal to stay in USA even
after you lose your job and H1B. You can still apply for EAD and AP. Think
about those guys who don't have chance to submit I485 yet. As soon as they
lose their jobs, they immediately lose their status and they are illegal to
stay in USA. They are much more nervous than you.

发帖数: 2163 | 10 EAD 不应该有很多RFE吧？赶紧找工作， 就别想那么多了。排期一个月挪一个星期，
到你还有些时候了。我就是丢掉工作后申请的EAD，当然我PD 比你的还远， 两个多月
就拿到EAD了。确实现在没多少人SPONSOR H1B。感觉用EAD 申请工作容易不少。 |

早干嘛去了，为啥现在才想到申请EAD?
现在工作都是朝不保夕的，没有EAD再手，万一工作出问题，不是自己给自己找麻烦吗
不过你现在也没啥好urgent的，慢慢找工作就可以了
反正PD没到，移民局不会理你的。 |
