like the machine is huge, heavy (about 1 ton/rack), and power-consuming. It
beats all other traditional databases in performance by 10-100 times, no
index needed, no tuning needed, no DBA needed either.
Anybody have any idea about Netezza system? Query still the same, like ANSI-

if the implementation is only for a single analytical app, fine, no DBA, no
management , run the thing like a wild west. but... if it is a strategic
investment to make it a enterprise resource, it absolutely need DBA and
management.
dump the crap to an expensive machine is wasteful need think twice what you
are doing. |
