Predict the 2014 NCAA Basketball Tournament
Each year, millions of people fill out a bracket to predict the outcome of
the Division 1 NCAA Basketball Tournament. Whether you base your predictions
on published rankings, tourney seeds, media pundits, betting gurus, offense
stats, defense stats, an upset strategy, or the hottest trending teams, it'
s clear there are as many ways to predict the results as there are results
to predict. This competition will test how well machine learning and
statistical techniques improve the forecast.
Basketball bracket
We have assembled the basic elements necessary to get started with
tournament prediction. The provided data covers nearly two decades of
historical games. You are also encouraged to use data from external sources.
The competition has two stages. In the first stage, participants will build
and test their models against the previous five NCAA tournaments. In the
second stage, participants will predict the outcome of the 2014 tournament.
You do not need to participate in the first stage to enter the second. The
first stage exists to incentivize model building and provide a means to
score predictions. The "real" competition is forecasting the 2014 results.
You will be predicting winning percentages for each possible matchup
likelihood, not just a most-likely bracket.

数据的时候还要考虑到规则的改变，我之前用的就是简单的clustering，组队的话请pm
