replace it with a wide tire. like 25 or 27, to make it sort of touring
bike.
is it feasible? I measure the clearance, it looks Ok.
btw, can you recommend one place to buy the tire?
thank you for your advice! |

price are pretty competitive.
Sometime there are 5% or 10% coupon for the site as well. Search the
Internet.

V*****n 发帖数: 893 | 6 you would want to measure your rim width first. I am sure 25mm is fine. but
28mm may be less than ideal on a 19mm rim (still works though).
my own experience is you can find high performance tires in 25mm. but 28mm
tires tend to be cheap, heavy and uncomfortable. I tried it once and really
hated it. but rivbike.com carry some house designed high quality wider tires
for light touring. |

h********e 发帖数: 1130 | 8 @bravesalmon, I will keep the wheel, just change the tire. it worn out quite
bit, and I got flat tire couple of times this month. time to change it.
Plus, I want to explore more on country area, dirt road, but not the
mountain bike trail, that's why I want to replace with a wide tire.
