a flat tire yesterday. I talked to my dealer and they told me that it is
related to the bumper we made and they do not cover the tire. I do not know
if it is true but long story short. Anyway, dealer wants me to pay $160 for
a new tire.
I checked the price online, for $160 I probably could get a better tire and

asked if I used tire shine on the tires, which I do frequently to keep the
new/black look:grinyes: . He informed me that tire shine products actually
damage the tires because they pull the oils from inside the tires to the
outside, giving the shiny/black look. He said that this could lead to
premature tire wear, blowouts, etc. Seems like he could be correct because I

new tire warranty (OEM tires are not unless you pay extra for the coverage
at the time when you buy the car).
Do not understand what " it is related to the bumper we made" means.
The TMPS sensor is at where your tire valve is, it is inside of the wheel
and just a little bigger than a regular valve, you do not see any difference
from outside. It has a battery and sends out a fixed frequency signal to

Actually I took your suggestion and decided to buy one OEM tire so that I
could have 4 same tires.
Since yesterday I talked to two Honda dealers and they gave me different
reasons why the tire is broken and warranty is not covered. The only same
thing they gave me is that the tire is unfixable and I need to buy a new one

俺是万年潜水王...生出寒冷的中北部
现在开一台03的infiniti G35 sedan，喜欢他的动力 所以在3月份雪刚刚化的时候就买
了它。眼瞅着还有一个多月snow season又要来了。开始有点纠结，到底是换一套全新
的snow tires，还是干脆换一台小的used suv开开..之前几个winter都是一台camry用
all season tires应付过来的，勉强凑合过了，但是G35就难伺候多了..现在的那个all
season tire已经至少磨了一半了，肯定要换snow tire如果继续要keep下去的话。
纠结的问题是，不知道换了snow tire到底能改善多少？因为之前从没用过snow tire，
如果snow tire没有那么起作用的话 那是不是应该干脆考虑换一台小suv？
请各位有过类似大马力车冬天用snow tire的XD share一些经验？到底能改善多少？多

brand, same size, same tread, etc, and since your car is basically brand-new
, and you have only put (xyz how many?) miles on the other 3 tires, they
should be almost new, so just get one new tire, and your car will be brand-
new again. Do NOT waste your money to get 4 new tires, totally unnecessary.

数字好像不太一样，也没太在意。今天一查才发现，不同的数字是tire load index,
原厂配的轮胎load index是97，他们竟然给换成93的了。google了半天，都是说：
“Never install tires with a lower load carrying capacity than the tires
originally installed on your car in the factory.”，
“increase your risk of tire failure, reduce your tires life and any and all
tire warranties will be void”
等等之类了...
我应该去找他们吗？
本来挺满意的，现在感觉很不爽，用对的轮胎也就贵一点钱。现在想起来当初他们找轮
胎的时候好像两个人嘀嘀咕咕说什么不一样，而且最后结帐的时候说价钱比最初报价便
宜。原来是这个原因！

后轮胎中间有个小钉子扎进去了，
他们没设备修轮胎，所以后来又开到了discount tire查看，让他们修，并给我rotate
tire
过了一会到下午6点快下班的时候，他们说给我修好了，
我开走之后也没察觉出什么问题。
但是今天周日下午在local开的时候，那个低胎压的灯又亮了，
继续往前开了大概200米，方向盘一直向右偏，
停车后发现右前轮(轮胎rotate 之后的位置)轮胎彻底瘪了，
换上了backup tire之后，发现那个钉子还在轮胎上，我很纳闷，
估计discount tire根本就没有给我补轮胎，只是给我rotate tire了。
看起来问题更严重了，因为
开到了firestonre tire 店里问，他们只看了一下就说要4个轮胎全部换，因为车是awd
的；
我半信半疑，想问问大伙这种flat tire 还能修好吗？ |

里有人说 Tire Plus 非常不靠谱，就喜欢胡说八道把客人侃晕了然后好往他们那扔修
车费。俺自己也觉得很多都不make snese，比如六万麦时候换的全新michelin轮胎，
Tire Plus八万麦时候就 recommend 全换新的，ft。轮胎自己可以辨别，很多自己不容
易辨别，比如Tire Plus说刹车片要换，让人觉得心里很没底。
这里应该有不少人在Tire Plus定期换机油的吧？你们都怎样对待Tire Plus的＂

瞎扯jb蛋，那是optimal psi for original tire/wheel.
要是换了别的tire／wheel，可以自己大概算算 tire max load x 4 / car weight x
tire max psi. 以这个为标准做chalk/heat test by 4 psi interval.
没两车都有个total spring rate，基本就是shock/strut + tire rate.换了tire就不
要用门上的psi了。 |

Adjust the pressure in all the tires in the same way. (Note: If the tires
are warmed up, inflate the tire pressure to 3 psi over the specified amount.)
Recheck the tire pressure with the digital gauge. If the pressure is too
high, press the gauge down just far enough to release some air from the tire
. Check it again.
Replace the valve caps on all the tires. |

it's exactly the size I need, so I realize the specificity of this deal.
They have 245/40R17 Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric tires for $73 each, with an
$80 rebate when you buy 4! By the way, this is the largest size you can fit
on the front of an E36 M3 without a spacer or fender rolling at stock ride
height.
That is $69.13 per tire for me, with shipping from Indiana to New Jersey.

Can't believe they are not sold out yet. Normal price states $5, but in my

It is fine, not too bad. Tires usually cost $50 each
including labor, forget about
those $30 pepboys tires, they will get bald by 30K miles.
Tires' price vary a lot. I paid $350/4 including labor for
four
V rated tires. I guess your's might be lower rated, but
sports tires
always cost more than regulars.
Alignment runs $24 per wheel, but many places offer coupons
which
make it either $29 for front or $39 for all wheels. This
applies
to most domestics and import cars.

if not doing rotation, a good tire can worn out at one point
much faster without reaching its warranty range.
most places has lifetime free balance and rotation
when you bought tires. need to do it every 7500 miles
or half year.
for existing tires, walmart has $7.5 per tire lifetime
balance and rotation plan to purchase additionally too. |

measure the treat and give you the discount in the new tire according to the
old tire tread wear. BTW, it does not matter where you bought your tire. |

sears auto service, and got the same answer that if repaire it that will be
temporary. But was told the tire is around $80 to100 , and no match tire in
the store now.
Actually I am a newer driver.Beginning I did not realize what happaned with the tire and drived the car with small nail for some days. |

should I replace just this tire ($320) or get four new bridgestone tires
from costco($900)
The tires still looks pretty new with good treadlines, I got 25000 on these
tires.
