Dear Sir or Madam,
I am an amateur triathlete from China. I was deeply disturbed and angered
when I saw pictures of the 2011 Katana on CEEPO’s website: http://ceepo.com/2011/products/cp-katana. It is evidential that the bicycle painting design uses the war flag of the Japanese army in World War II. During the war, 20 million Chinese civilians and 2 million Chinese soldiers lost their lives in Japanese invasion of China. The flag is a symbol of Japanese Militarism and is extremely offensive to me and many Chinese people who have the same feeling. I request CEEPO to stop using this painting design on its bicycles and promise not to repeat a situation like this. Until then, I will not purchase any product from CEEPO.

发帖数: 9604 | 3 ceepo是日车，设计者不可能不了解有关背景。日本军旗是16道杠，这辆车上的涂装也
是16道。很难令人相信这只是巧合。
我没有更多关于这辆车的资料。我想ceepo可能不太在意大陆的市场，因为他们在韩国，台湾，菲律宾等地都有代销而在大陆没有。国内有不少车友认为不必小题大作。我向ceepo表达
了不满，对自己有个交待，也就move on，该干嘛干嘛了。

二战前两面旗都是16道杠，二战后陆军旗改为8道杠，海军旗不变。

It's the 16th most used brand (out of 46) in the 2009 Ironman WC bike count.

Just post a bunch of posts on tri forums, so that people know whoever rides
a Ceepo is patronizing a Nazi friendly company. |
