采取weatherx的意见，看了几个youtube bike packing的clip后决定自己试试。 于是
周末去了San Fran的一个比较大的specialized dealer － Mikes Bikes要了个箱子。
回家折腾了３个半小时的结果。。。
1. 拆前轮， 后轮， 链子， handlebar。 本来不想拆后轮的， 但是怎么放都有一
部分拱出来， 然后才发现箱子不够长 Orz。
2 和 3. 然后想进办法怎么保护各个部分， 看图吧。 后面那个derailler够难看吧
， 哈哈。
4. 然后把车装箱， 刚好放进去， perfect － 很有成就感！ 突然间发现， 还有放
外头两轮子怎么也不够地装了！！！又回去看youtube，怎么他们都这么轻松连后轮都
没拆， 还用的和我一样的箱子就全部装进去了？ 很受打击 ：（ 最后的解决办法把
两轮子稍微重叠用zip tie紧紧地绑在frame上， 试了一下竟然进去了！ 感应激动，
忘拉拍我那可怜的车子被zip tie无花大绑的样子了。 我又找了些不用的泡沫把所有
的空地都塞个严实才罢休。（还是忘了塞两瓶 |

action to any packing materials? if so, we need to find some replacement
for re-assembly

发帖数: 904 | 3 应该不会吧， 那些泡沫form都是只用tape固定了而已， 我想到时候不要太用力把纸皮
箱给剥下一成皮就行。
车子本身刚好把箱子挤的满满的， 我倒不担心会动， 就是怕外面没有太结实的保护给
airline的人丢坏了， 那就惨了。

发帖数: 4396 | 4 0) the rear wheel should be on. if you can't get it to fit, you have the
wrong box.
1) stick something hard into the front triangle to prevent the box from
collapsing there.
2) also space out the fork (and dropouts if you really want to ship it
without rear wheel on). put in old hubs or get two of those plastic dropout/
fork spreaders.
3) it's safest to unbolt the rear derailleur and zip-tie it to the chainstay

0) I just called the specialized dealer and they said that the box they gave
me was for Specialized Roubaix 52cm and they don't have larger size boxes?
What size of box should I have asked? I would think that the box for my
dolce elite be smaller than the Roubaix, right?

2) i stuffed some hard forms in btw
3) will have to figure out (more research to do :P)

发帖数: 4396 | 7 there are boxes for frames and then there are boxes for semi-assembled (
called dealer-ready) bikes. if you have the latter you should be able to
pack the bike with rear wheel on.
ffvii is correct, the fork should be turned around.
