I don't think so...
this parallel universe thing was already used in X-files years ago, nothing
new here.
About Peter, I think Walter brought him from another universe after young
Peter died -- that's why this Peter doesn't remember his favorite coin,
because he wasn't the one playing with it.

It was fascinating ten years ago, but not now!
Lost, Fringe, Star trek, I am so sick of it now! JJ really ruined my
