考虑兴趣和将来就业。打算一边ＰＨＤ化学，一边拿一个master degree in computer
science.
但是： ＭＳ文凭要修完９门课程。２７ 个学分， 几万美元估计都要自己出了。目
前只有
teaching assistantship 化学的钱来供了。
所以打算将来３到４年拿下ｃｏｍｐｕｔｅｒ， 同时必须化学
不知道给位觉得这样做值得吗？ 唉，得出更多钱和力气了。
另外 学校提供两个项目：
Computer & Information Science :

job after your get the CS master while you get better job with chemistry,
or you can only be a postdoctor after you getting chemistry. Apparently it
is not good to take two due to too much work and energy consumed while one
of them may not be used anymore in the future career. So, I guess that you
have to analyze what is your best choice and drop either one of them and
then go ahead bravely. If I am you and not hate the

发帖数: 1028 | 9 You can try to take CS courses at the same time, so you just need to pay the
extra credits you take. Plus once your credit passes some number I forgot,
it is free.
Yet you might need to talk with/tell your adviser since he is the one giving
you the support.
If you are TA or fellowship, no problem. 27 credits are not that bad, you
can take 3 credits per semester, and 6 credits in summer split into two
summer sessions. So you can get MS in CS in 2.5 or 3 years the latest
without jeopardizing your
