currently sell the majority of our products through e-commerce, focusing on
Amazon.com.
Our Team
Sunvalley Group is seeking a highly qualified individual to join our team as
a Director of Online Sales and Marketing.
The ideal candidate must possess an excellent understanding of the online
ecommerce landscape, particularly in consumer electronics. He or she will be
in charge for expanding the current Amazon business into new online sales
channels to meet growth objectives. The candidate must work well under
deadlines, understand budget constraints and be able to clearly define
priorities. She or he will create and maintain media relationships with key
strategic partners, and work with an international marketing support team
for secondary media development. The candidate must be a self-starter who
works well both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
• Identify new and potential online sales channels to meet sales
goals and growth objectives
• Develop, manage, and execute online sales strategies to generate
new revenue for Sunvalley’s consumer facing brands.
• Monitor the competitive landscape and propose media and ad
relationship strategies as appropriate
• Negotiate paid media deals (i.e. email newsletter sponsorship or
site sponsorships) with key media partners – managing budget to ROI
objectives for clicks & sales
• Lead a global marketing team including PR, Content, Social Media,
and Advertising.
Requirements
• 5+ years ecommerce and online sales experience
• Possess an in depth knowledge of major online sales channels
including their advertising costs, fulfillment cost, etc. to determine
feasibility of expansion
• Skilled in negotiating online ad partnerships (paid), calculating
and managing ROI objectives
• Strong understanding of media/PR planning, media list development
and implementation process
• Excellent writing, editing, verbal communications, project
management and decision-making skills
• Ability to develop and maintain strong internal and external
relationships
• Self-starter who works independently with minimal supervision but
has a proven ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Detail-oriented, highly organized and able to manage multiple
tasks/projects simultaneously
• Thrives in a fast-paced and unstructured, deadline-oriented
environment
