POSITION SUMMARY:
The Account Assistant will coordinate all accountspayable activity as
well
as provide other accounting and administrativesupport to the
department and
other areas of the company. The idealcandidate is flexible in
executing a
wide variety of tasks while handling increasingaccounting
responsibilities
in a thorough and accurate manner.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBLITIES (not all inclusive)
Accounts Payable:
• Accounts Payable administrativeresponsibilities such as
paying
bills, matching receipts to supplierinvoices,maintaining supplier
invoice
and packing list files, running checks, reviewinginvoices for proper
approvals and account assignment.
• Considerable data entry andutilization of company finance
and
business system, Made 2 Manage.
• Reviewing credit card charges andcoordinating with
personnel to
collect backup and ensure proper account assignments.
Accounting: Transition into additionalaccounting support duties
including:
• Assist with monthly financialstatement and management
reports
• Conduct analytical and data-miningprojects to support
management
team
• Assist departments in developing anddocumenting procedures
• Assist in general ledger and costaccounting tasks
Additional:
• Make collection calls to customers toensure that accounts
are
maintained in a current status
• Support Accounts ReceivableAdministrator as needed. |
