The Future of Ridesharing is Up for a Vote
Tomorrow, the Illinois Senate is expected to vote on HB 4075, a bill that
would cripple Lyft in this state, stripping Chicago of local control. We've
worked for months toward policy progress, but if we don't act now, all of
our work will be lost.
HB 4075 creates major barriers for people like you and me who want to give
rides part-time, and stops people with cars more than 4 years old from
participating at all – hurting Lyft drivers from Chicago’s poorest
communities.
