Kevin Baker, 19, the Chicago teen who was shot in the head and abdomen on
Thursday after he handed his cell phone over to robbers, died Saturday
morning, according to a Chicago Tribune report on Saturday.
The shooting occurred at approximately 4:15 p.m. on Thursday in the Chicago
Lawn neighborhood as Baker was en route to his home after attending classes
at Harold Washington College. Specifically, the shooting happened in the
6200 block of South Campbell Avenue in the city. After the shooting, he was
taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn.
Previously, the deceased teen’s aunt – Patricia Butler - said that the
robbers asked her nephew what gang he was in. He was shot before he had a
chance to even answer. She asserted that her nephew was not in any gang. | B**********2
