This event has become a holiday tradition and this year it is even better
with the show extended throughout the entire Visitor's Center and restaurant
. This should give everyone plenty of space to spend time looking at all of
the details to each lego creation.
The event is produced by the Northern Illinois LEGO Train Club and is the
group’s largest annual show in terms of display space and attendance. “We
have members come in from out-of-state and members who have been building
special items throughout the year just for this show,” said Jamie LeBlanc,
NILTC president. “Our members are free to create in whatever genre they are
interested in, and then we connect it all together with the trains. That’s
why you might see a Star Wars stormtrooper drinking coffee and carrying a
briefcase while waiting on a train platform. We love the crazy, whimsical
stuff that keeps you looking at the display for hours to find new things you
may have missed.”
Admission to the LEGO Train Show is free; parking at Cantigny is $5 per
vehicle.
Visitors to the show are encouraged to bring new and unwrapped toys for the
Marine Toys for Tots drop boxes inside the Cantigny Visitors Center. Those
bringing a toy will receive free parking.
Cantigny Park is open every day through December from 9 am to sunset.

private show might be sold out. but public show was on. 9am to 4pm. 5bucks
for parking. you can also visit the tank park and first division museum.

最可怜的是我儿子，半路上睡着了，到地方没舍得喊他起来，
爹带姐姐先进去了，等儿子睡够了我抱他进去，
赶上姐姐正在闹场说不好玩要走，
结果儿子没呆多久就被我们连哄带骗得拉了出来，委屈的哦。：（
哎，俩孩子品种不一样真麻烦，总玩不到一起去。
