主要是说一个妈妈，因为儿子经常容易坏的lego而非常frustrated.

今年夏天，纽约的布朗克斯动物园搞了一个Lego Safari展览。在纽约市周围，好像没
有看见过Lego Land之类的主题公园，但是从去年开始，布朗克斯动物园就开始在夏天
的时候办Lego展览。
我们去布朗克斯动物园比较多，所以去的时候也就懒得带照相机了。主要就是去带着小
孩子走走。小孩子呆在家够闹腾的。反正我们是动物园的会员，随时去都可以。上次去
，就是一个下午，孩子们在家够闹腾了，我就带他们去动物园走走，结果正好赶上这个
Lego展览。
没有相机，但是手头有一个手机。现在的手机基本上都还凑合，虽然感光芯片很小，但
是聊胜于无吧。充足光照下拍摄静物基本上问题不大。很大随手拍了几张，算是有片片
有真相。
今年的这个Lego展览在动物园的Zoo Center附近，这个是入口：

这只老虎去年见过
用了三百个小时搭建，如果一天工作八小时，那可是一个多月的时间！
狐猴，算是动物园的明星。自从电影马达加斯加上映，布朗克斯动物园的马达加斯加馆
和各种狐猴就成了“名人”，自然要变成Lego明星。

发帖数: 5114 | 14 作为一名高龄乐高粉，我和儿子一起在第一时间看了TLM，我目前还觉得那是2014我最
喜欢的电影。
当然，这是某种偏激的论断 —— TLM面向的观众群可能并不是所有人。
真正能全面appreciate这片的观众，多半自己是lego粉，当然， 如果家里还有同样迷
乐高的父母/孩子，
那就更美好了。
TLM之所以特别，有一个重要的原因，是因为里面有很多只有资深粉才真正懂的梗。
首先，那个主角小人Emmet Brickowski，片子里就是个“generic” construction
worker。很多资深粉看到
这个人物的出现，就开始乐了—— lego粉里有一族就是专门收藏trade各种小人（以及
小人部件）的，不过哪个“小人粉”都不会
对这个拥有一张最最大众的脸，最最最普通头发，最最最简单身体还不带任何配件的小
人多看上一眼的。
这个小人的市场value也就1块钱左右吧（有些限量版小人，如：Mr.gold 要几百美元的
）。所以lego粉一看就知道Emmet是个MR. nobody.
正是这个隐形梗和后面反复提到的“special one”不停地呼应，才显得特别可乐。

Lego公司其实有好几种大小不同的Lego积木。
经典的是(小的) Lego (也可以说classic Lego)
大一点的(给小孩的) 叫Duplo或者Lego Duplo
还有更大的 Lego Primo, Lego baby但是卖得很少。
Lego上都有些适合多大儿童的(4-99)表示适合4岁到99岁的儿童。
和其他玩具一样。这个推荐年龄比较保守一点。
但是大概可以知道不同set的难度。
Duplo块大，小小孩(2-5)拿起来很顺手,而且不会吞服，
所以是阶段的很好过渡，但是相对比较简单，缺少变化。
年纪大了，很少会再玩。
Lego其实也有不同的阶段，开始往往是用那种brick tube开始。
就是主要是一些bricks加上少量一些片(plates)还有一些窗户/轮子
这样可以是很好的入门。

Okay.我知道大多数家长其实想知道是,哪里买(便宜的)Lego.
Lego很贵,现在是10美分一个piece.以后通货膨胀还要涨.hoho.
首先,我要说,你需要有一定数量的lego才能build比较多的东西.
当然.想象力好的可以从3in1 那种creator set就做不少东西.
但是kids will never have enough lego.
back to the topic.
Lego很多地方卖, 最全的地方就是Lego store,而且有些sets只有lego store才有.
另外就是玩具店, Toysrus就很多Lego.
另外比如Walmart/Target都长年有卖.
还有Borders, B&N书店.
有时候Tjmxx之类的折扣店也有卖.(rare)

克里斯蒂安森（Christiansen,）家族一直是老板.
lego是丹麦话 玩的好。
lego其实不是第一个发明这种塑料插起来的玩具。但是却是做的最好的。

Lego很贵,现在是10美分一个piece.以后通货膨胀还要涨.hoho.
首先,我要说,你需要有一定数量的lego才能build比较多的东西.
当然.想象力好的可以从3in1 那种creator set就做不少东西.
但是kids will never have enough lego.
back to the topic.
Lego很多地方卖, 最全的地方就是Lego store,而且有些sets只有lego store才有.
另外就是玩具店, Toysrus就很多Lego.
另外比如Walmart/Target都长年有卖.
还有Borders, B&N书店.
有时候Tjmxx之类的折扣店也有卖.(rare)
Sears/Kmart
哪里deal多呢? target/walmart.比较多但是折扣不等.(特别是target总有季节性打折)
Toyrus有时候75% or 67%
网上的店,Amazon比较公价. (比walmart略贵)
Amazon也经常有折扣.因为没有tax(大多州),所以如果免邮费,还是可以便 |

以前的lego,和一般的contruction toy一样，基本是拿出来乱七八糟一盒子。
然后随便利用想象来build. 当然，最多的是房子，车子，飞机 etc.
现在的lego随着零件的多样化，复杂化，除了随便build以外。
还有多很多的细节，包括颜色，包括坡度，包括利用tile(光片)来隐藏studs
这样。做出来，逼真很多，而且比例上也更接近。
所以现在lego还有display的作用。

以前经常到处蹲点买旧的LEGO.有时候能搞到不错的deal.但是也很费时间。有木有。。
一般就是这么几个地方
1) craigslist
这个地方曾经搞到过几个相当不错的deal.但是现在发现人们都精明起来。便宜的走的
快，走的不快。不便宜。
好处，就是有的放矢。主要是email/电话。相对比较"省"时间,当然如果看准了不错的
也要马上去pickup.
2) fleamarket/resale shop.
家边上有个Fleamarket(20mins drive?).
卖旧东西,有时候也有LEGO. (不知道卖家哪里收来得)
这个也看运气,一般要早去,看到好deal.马上拿下.
但是有时候,也一无所获阿. 费时间. 而且flea market有时候还收门票..

LEGO的机器人产品,名称是MINDSTORMS.
现在的版本是NXT 2 (since 2009 AUG) set 8527
之前的版本是NXT (since 2006 JUL) set 8547
另外还有各种sensor 啊.motor啊.cable啊.都可以混用.
再之前就有RCX
版本有2.0 1.5 & 1.0
LEGO 机器人有竞赛.各个地区,州,全国.都有.
FLL : FIRST LEGO LEAGUE 主要是面对9-14岁 (Grade 4 - 8 )是最主流的比赛
小孩子有JFLL: Junior FIRST LEGO LEAGUE 是给小孩的 (Grade 1-3 )主要是参与不是
竞赛.
by the way, 9年级以上有 用另外的kits (非LEGO)的FIRST比赛. |

发帖数: 2250 | 47 lego 是我觉得是使用寿命最长的玩具之一。duplo能玩个5年，普通lego那就是life
time的使用寿命，而且，大人孩子可以一起娱乐，挺好。
就是贵，而且我不觉得它们应该这么贵，哪有那么高的成本。不过，相对于使用寿命，也值了。玩具东买一件西买一件，也得几百上千的。少买几种，还好收拾。
我家目前还在用duplo。总共200刀budget，买了如下几样，足够玩的了。
lego 9230 education town set 80
lego 5507 brick and more 35 圣诞折扣后
lego 6136 zoo 25
lego 5947 winnie the pooh 25
lego 9071 duplo board 2 set 25
如果没买火车桌，可以再加100budget。
lego 5609 deluxe train
