Tenure Track Position
The Department of Chemistry at West Virginia State University invites
applications for a tenure-track position in organic chemistry at the
Assistant Professor level to start in August 2017.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate is expected to teach organic and general chemistry;
develop a research program (especially involving undergraduate students);
and engage in service activities at the Department, College, and University
levels. There is also a potential for research with graduate students within
the Biotechnology Program.
Qualifications:
The candidate must have a Ph. D. in Organic Chemistry or closely related
field. The ability to teach biochemistry is preferred.
Closing Date: March 15, 2017 or until filled
