I am having difficulties on synthesizing the product below. I can only find
two methods reported in Literature. The first one is way too complicated.
Unless I really don't have any other choices, I would like to leave this
method as my last choice. The second one requires "autoclave", which I
couldn't do at all.
So, can anybody help me on this --- find other ways to synthesize the
product? The method can be just a speculation, as long as it is reasonable.

problem is that I can only get a mixture of isomers from the coupling
product on the different position of the alky chain. There is no way I can
purify the product from these isomers. They are so close on GC and TLC. So,
I gave up on this method. If anybody has any idea on how to control these
isomers, please let me know. Thanks.
