have obtained a Ph.D. in organic chemistry or a related field within one
year of degree completion at the time of hire. The candidate also should (1)
have extensive research experience in organic synthesis and have a proven
track record in high-quality publications, (2) be very familiar with common
analytical techniques (NMR, IR, UV, MS), and purification techniques (e.g.,
flash column, recrystallization, and chiral resolution) used in organic
synthesis, and (3) have good exposure to photoredox catalysis and
electrochemical organic synthesis. Highly self-motivated individuals who
have demonstrated the ability to conduct independent scientific research
successfully are desirable. Strong written and verbal communication skills
