ticket，完整了。
在警察叔叔给的citation上，超速罚金是30，court costs是130，总共是160。
我的问题是，如果我去上庭，最好的结果是不是获胜，超速罚金30免掉，不计点，但
court costs还是得交？最坏的情况是不是输掉，记点，但还是只要交160，没有额外的
费用？ |

发帖数: 518 | 3 以我的第一张ticket经验，如果你上庭使用Prayer for Judgement，是这个结果：交诉讼费130，免罚款30，不计点——也就是你所说的上庭最好结果。这种案子有惯例可循，法官一个上午要处理二、三十人，没特别理由不会给你特殊待遇——也就是说最坏的结果出现的可能不大。 |

一般结果是ticket fee免掉交court fee.
最坏结果就是交$160。 |

发帖数: 450 | 6 don't ask for 'Prayer for Judgement', that should be use for your 2nd or 3rd
time violation.
since it is your first time, you can go to the court and negotiate with the
DA to reduce the speeding from 12 (47-35) to below 10 so that you will not
get 2 points in your insurance (speeding more than 10 miles will increase
insurance points).
i don't see how you can get the ticket dropped and waive the court fee.
unless the policeman did not show up and you plead not guilty.
