etc), 一个是sales and trading group (doing option pricing, fixed income
pricing, risk evaluation, blabla, this group does nothing abt high frequency
trading). 都是front office, 我对这两个都挺感兴趣，不知道那个更好。这里的大
人帮我比较一下吧，这两个部门，哪个更有前途？或者工作环境更轻松？等等，谢谢 | p*c

handle either one. you have to specify if it's more on studies of the
financial markets or trading performance or building models to capture
features of the real market or handling the real trasanctions. well, if had
to choose, i won't go with hftg for you will probably end up using
automated systems all day long.

发帖数: 1015 | 3 yes, this is what I am wondering about too. I heard it is a hot area now,
but dont know how much I can get out of doing this intern. For the Sales and
Trading group, what I am supposed to do is to be at Rate desk. mainly
pricing options, fixed income, etc, also risk evaluation , blala. it is a
front office desk. Other than this, I dont know too much either ... do you
have more inputs after knowing it is a fixed income desk in this sales and
trading group? thanks!

多数银行里的high freq都是做execution model的，估计你没有兴趣。
还是去做rates quant intern吧

。是我的错觉么？这两个部门，一个是我的研究方向，一个是我也学过的东西。。。
