It seems that the priority rank should be: Yale > Duke > Cornell.
Did not expect people think so low of Cornell.

Yale name is stronger than Duke. If you want to stay in the US,
Duke Fuqua opens much more doors than Yale SOM.

sheer powerful force of brand name will be better in China. Cornell is a
great school, just relatively not as high percieved as the other niu schools
.

Yale business school is good at Econ. and finace. That is all.
Duke is more balanced. Good at everything. Especially in marketing. |

Now the ranking is comparable. Duke is sliding, but Yale SOM is climbing up

faculty research: Johnson > Fuqua > Yale SOM
MBA placement: Yale > Johnson >= Fuqua
alums influences and networks: Yale >= Johnson > Fuqua
location: New Haven > Ithaca > Durham (NYC-centric)
not sure about the case for other tracks like management consulting,
strategies, accounting, etc. Yet I suspect that Yale SOM still contribute
the most graduates to McKinsey and BCG as compared with Fuqua or Johnson

I fon't agree with you, the rank should be Faqua > Johnson=Yale, I judge
this from the publication in last 5 years

yet. Nevertheless I was just reading Viswanathan's paper on liquidity, and
he seems really excellent. I adored Johnson the most out of the three,
probably because it has Maureen O'Hara and Bob Jarrow. Jarrow is among the
greatest geniuses in fixed incomes and credit research, and you know, O'Hara
is almost synonymous with market microstructures theory. They say that it is
just a matter of time that she will receive ano
