发帖数: 642 | 6 That is an overstatement imo. Personally I won't pass, but I give credit to
the world class player for passing. Also sometimes due to the bids are used
by conventional agreement, we have to pass for a hand while we really don't
want to. It is unlikely for this case though.

发帖数: 2804 | 7 One advantage of passing is that, when opponents have good hand and declares
, they won't play you for the actual hand you have. But you lose many
competitive deals, I think that is losing bridge in long run. It might be
different if we are at unfavorable vulnerability, but here we are white, we
have shape, and most importantly we are short in enemy suit. It's not even
close. Ask any expert, I expect some will bid 2D, some unusual 2NT, but no
world-class player is going to pass with this hand.
