like balancing much.
When you hold something like:
SAxxx Hxxx DAxx CKxx,
even the most crazy player wouldn't double RHO's 1S opening.
However, when the bidding goes like this way:
1S p 2S p
p ?
It's quite a sound way to reopen the bidding since partner
is rated to be short in S and has some value. What would you
bid now?

seat holds length in oppo's suit. When he's short, you lose the possibility of
have pd converting the double -- but it's probably ok, cause I can't remember
when's the last time I converted pd's balancing double after a raise with
length in front.

you would usually like to balance 2S over 2H, now you can't.
However, we still may overcall 1S here when white.

routine and not an act of prebalancing.
