不知道是不是这样?
This place is a mixed bag. If you're looking for a great customer service
experience, it's not for you. Either find another school or go buy a T pass.
But if you're willing to suck it up and put up with unprofessionalism, then
read on. (The road test at the end is known for being super duper easy, so
most people just put up with the b.s.) Here are key points to know to make
your experience a little better:
1.) When you call in, you can request the teacher you drive with. My
recommendations are Darnell and Manny. Really nice guys, very laid back. It'
s a no-brainer that you should be comfortable with the teacher, but not all
with make you feel this way. I had an instructor at Brookline Driving School
who constantly grabbed the wheel, said "stop" and "go" at lights (as if I
was colorblind), and even made me stop so he could take a cigarette break.
Since I was paying by the hour, it was a real great use of my time. (Note
the sarcasm.)
2.) If you can, try to get it out of the way and schedule your lessons in
one call. A lot of times they don't pick up, but when they do, the Russian
girl who answers the phone is seriously rude. (She must be related to the
people who run the school because no professional business would allow their
admin to be like that.)
3.) Find ways to challenge yourself in your lessons. It got boring for me
because we kept driving around the same neighborhood again and again. I
really wish at the time I had spent more time with highway driving. Perhaps
ask to do more of this (you'll need to ask for it before the lesson) or see
if you can drive in a different part of the city. |
