发帖数: 47 | 1 I'm seeking a Research Associate to join my team in the Neuroscience group
at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals in Tarrytown, NY. Regeneron is one of the
world's leading biotechnology companies that is advancing therapies for
unmet human medical conditions ranging from eye diseases, cancer,
cardiovascular, bone & muscle diseases, and nervous system diseases (
including pain, addiction, and neurodegenerative disorders).
The position: Research Associate position in the Neuroscience group. The
work will be related to advancing biological (antibody) therapies for a wide
variety of neurological conditions / neurodegenerative disorders.
The person: This candidate should be a MSc- or BSc- trained scientist who is
a critical thinker, highly motivated, has a willingness to learn & adapt to
new disease areas and changing project priorities. This person should have
an understanding of the principles of neuroscience and neurobiology.
Experience with in vitro or in vivo models of neurodegeneration are a plus,
but not mandatory. The individual must be a good team player & be able to
maintain accurate & detailed laboratory records. The individual will also be
expected to present their data at various group meetings throughout all
levels of the company.
Required skills & expertise: In vivo animal (mouse or rat) experience is a
requirement. This can include, but not limited to: animal handling, behavior
, dissections, stereotactic injections, rodent surgeries, disease induction
models, fluid collection, drug dosing/administration, PK/PD studies, etc.
The individual should also know some basic immunological or molecular
biology or imaging techniques (e.g., western blotting, PCR, immuno-
histochemistry, confocal microscopy, etc). Any in vitro cell culture
experience would be an added plus, but not mandatory.
