Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Develop computational methods and pipeline for vaccine design using
NGS data
• Apply the established methods on Merck data and public data and
identify vaccine candidate genes.
Qualifications
Education Minimum Requirement:
• PhD, or met all the requirements for a PhD in Bioinformatics,
Computational Biology, genomics/genetics or related field, by June 2015 with
3 years or less postdoctoral experience.
Required Experience and Skills:
• Experience in bioinformatics and computational biology
• Familiar with NGS data analysis
• Working experience on at least one of the scripting or programming
languages, such as Perl, Python, Java and/or C, with proficiency working on
a Linux/Unix environment.
Preferred Experience and Skills:
• Basic knowledge on biology, including immune response,
immunogenicity, microbiology, and sequence conservation.
• Experience with protein annotation |

发帖数: 5516 | 7 一般而言，开始工资基本上六万五以上一年，期限是2～3年，没学校经费压力，仪器试
剂等实验条件比学校好，重复劳动的强度要低。Merck 博后以后去其它药厂做研发比学校
千老容易。药企招博后的老板通常在企业里位置比较高，以后人脉也非常好，有些
企业博后老板是产品开发线上director级别的人物。
这些博后位置竞争激烈，要好好准备，博士发表的文章还得过硬，不少美国本土
白人PhD也申请这些位置，一般情况下海外PhD学位是个缺点。
如果以后要加入药企，企业博后绝对是比学校博后强。缺点就是文章不会非常好，回去
做AP基本没可能，企业也不数文章过日子。
