1. are you out of your freaking mind?
2. are you nuts? are you crazy?
3. if you cannot do this experiment, move on, go home now.
4. your PhD is from a state school, therefore your PhD experience does not
count here

6. if you get to the lab at 9am again tomorrow, go home and stop coming back.
7. get out of my lab NOW.
8. even an undergrad can do this western blot better, your PhD is worthless
9. people like you (from a state school) never use your brain and cannot
think.
10. Your English sucks, so why don't you make a poster and I will go
presenting it for you on the conference. I am doing you a big favor.

boss defended himself by saying this to me: if I told you to jump off the
high building, would you jump?
My postdoc boss was a mean Chinese guy coming straight from the hell ! He
enjoyed
abusing his power over Chinese postdocs, but dare not on American, European
postdocs. He was incredibly mean and now got kicked out of the institute
for losing his grant. Every time he used his abusive power on the Chinese
postdocs, he seemed in very high moods.
Academically, he looks very impressive on paper: received degrees from
prestigious schools in China and the U.S. He published good CNS papers
during his postdoc study with a big bull. However, he published only JBC-
levels papers after he became independent, but the productivity is not
impressive: 1 paper on average every 2.5 years.
After thoughts: he was psychologically sick and he never thinks he is wrong
- a typical self-righteous mind. He needed psychological help for sure, he
was really moody most of the time, and you can tell his feeling by listening
to his breath.

不过真要是遇到上面这样的，我肯定直接录下来，抄送ethics board，询问一下学校HR
， verbal abuse和harassment的具体亏定，保证24小时之内it就老实了
说实话，一般这种老板都是软蛋，所以你硬了他就怂了
不要怕丢工作，因为这种人比你更怕
给出个“馊主意”
开始骂得你觉得不爽了，就去学校的“work and life"或者类似的部门寻求心理”治疗

女同胞们可以考虑鼻涕眼泪一把抓的去寻求心理开导
三次完了，直接录下来cc 学校的HR 就行了。见效快，而且还能搞得bt老板 碰都不敢
碰你，直接养着你。
说实话，这种bt老板比bt的聪明老板容易对付多了
真正的大bt说话能恶心死你，但是说出去还抓不到把柄，连Harassment的边都擦不到，
那种就只能自求多福了 |

我就见过把老板搞“死”的，自己还继续爽着的，而且还是位同胞，
当然生物这个行业确实是坑，但是没办法大家都已经掉坑里了，就尽量让自己活得体面
点吧
真的，很多时候稍微强硬一点，情况会好一些。
对于前面一些帖里面的那些bt老板，这么做一点都不过分。

Because the experiments he suggested did not work at all, he asked me why,
and I told him he told me the experiments in his way. Then he defended

推荐信可以找系主任找系里其他老板，事情闹大了总会有个把好人出来解围，甚至会有
和bt老板不对付的跳出来帮忙，隔壁lab一个女生跟老板闹翻貌似就这么搞了两封推荐
信跳槽
老板太bt了真的没必要忍着，车到山前必有路
