ACTA Genetica Sinica became the Journal of Genetics and Genomics in 2007;
Neuroscience Bulletin, founded in 1998, switched to English in 2006; and in
January 2009, Acta Zoologica Sinica, published since 1935 and the second-
oldest journal in China, became Current Zoology.
另外我知道Acta Botanic Sinica改成Journal of Integrative Plant Biology
Strong medicine for China's journals
Weak publications will be 'terminated'.

钳制了学术自由。数文章，数点数，本来就是官僚凌驾专家的结果，现在又要找另一批
官僚凌驾上来，决定全中国一年可以发多少篇文章，发什么样topic的文章... | n********k

发帖数: 21 | 4 The simplest way to boost Chinese journals' IF is to launch a policy that
all papers published in Chinese journals require citing certain number of
papers published in those journals. I am sure that within 10 years, all the
top scientists in the world will rush to sumbit papers to journals such as
Cell Research, World Journal of gastroenterology, etc. (BTW, it is not a
serious suggestion, but it could happen in China.) | O******e

leaders and people in China are becoming more and more confident.
