HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (AP) - A woman opened fire during a biology faculty meeting
at the University of Alabama's Huntsville campus Friday, killing three
people and injuring at least one more.

will be at least 4 faulty postions open in that doomed university.
And I think that the tenure approval rate would be higher in the following
decade in that university.
May all the dead rest in pease.
May all the new faulty members, especially assistant professors, live
happily thereafter. |

10年前, NIH RO1通过率是25%，tenure保证有位置的人有起码的能力。
现在通过率是8%，tenure就变成了非常可怕的压力。
