female and male PI in manipulating my post-doc application.
In general, males are flexible and practical---they will consider your
application if they think you are worth using. On the contrast, females have
some more "条条杠杆”“价值标准”to evalute you.

lab to only take people when they are starting their postdoctoral career...I
