MOSES was high on drugs when God gave him the Ten Commandments.
That's the new view of the Old Testament being put forward by an Israeli
scientist.
Psychology professor Benny Shanon believes Moses took mind-bending drugs
made from desert plants before climbing Mount Sinai to hear the word of the
Almighty.
Shanon insisted that the encounter with God was not "a supernatural cosmic

actually existed. The fact that there was no contemporary Egyptian
documentation on Moses at all cast serious doubt about the existence
of such a historical figure. The time line for Moses is about 1300BC
after all, about at the middle of Chinese 商朝. It is more likely
that Exodus never occurred (or Egyptian would likely have recorded it,)
and Moses was nothing more than some early Jewish tribal legend,
