1) kobe guards westbrook, focuses on penetration, and lets go jumpers.
2) artest guards durant, focuses on jumpers, and keeps physical
contacts.
3) front court dominants rebounds.
Now, all the 3 are useless:
1) westbrook has a good midrange jumper now
2) durant chooses p&r, easily gets rid of artest's harassment
3) thunders got perkins, nazr mohammed, ibaka. their front end, though
not as luxury as lakers in paper, essentially easily cancels lakers
front end on court.
Lakers big problem:
1) their back courts are old and slow, and cannot def any
young/quick/energetic penetration guy.
2) They have in-paper adv at front court, but that is not reliable.
Teams like thunders, heat, etc, can easily cancel lakers' front end
with a much less talented front end. The trio of bynum, gasol, lamar
does not have the singleton power/dominance of a young shaq. None of
them can score reliable when facing a team with enough length. Anyway,
the current NBA is not a front court NBA anymore. No way a team can
win purely from front court anymore!
3) they suck offensively. aside from kobe and gasol, no starters can
score. Kobe and gasol are not as consistent as before either. their
bench can only beat heat's bench, compared with all other strong
teams.

2nd, u believe spurs can beat thunders? Sure, spurs has a higher chance,
since parker can cancel westbrook somewhat, but still, thunders have a big
chance to beat spurs.
lakers must be really lucky if they don't have to play thunders and heat. | d*****d

这场比赛看的很重，科比只上了31分钟，伽少33分钟。热的话，只要裁判不出手，不会
输。

think they can still beat thunders in a
7 game series with HCA.
For eastern conf teams, there's no way to beat heat without HCA. Boston has
gone down more than the lakers
this year so it won't be a problem. Bulls is just as hard to deal with as
the thunders, orlando most likely won't
make it to the final and also the the weakest among the four. The old lakers
really fear athleticism now.

发帖数: 1855 | 12 it is not a loss like the first 4 streak. For those 4, lakers
essentially did not REALLY want to win.
Yesterday against thunders, they really wanted to win. But still failed
at home, with a pretty favorable officiation.
they tried all they could try. kobe and gasol had a decent game. bench
was also not that bad (mostly due to blake). still, they lost.
And from the game, they had no answer to thunder's offense. And
thunders had answers to laker's adv.
