What a year for him. No one expected he'd achieve much in Florida after
being let go from Rangers. Even Marlins' young pitchers didn't quite
accept him at firt. Just as people thought his chance was gone after
losing to Yanks 3 times in postseason as a Ranger, he paid his due and
finally earned this elusive ring after 10+ years of career. Nice.
