Hello all,
I'm pleased to annouce we've settled on a date for our Spring badminton
tournament - Gator Smash.
It will be held on the weekend of February 26 (plan for two days) on
Courts 5 and 6 at the Southwest Recreation Center. I will soon email out
an entry form along with information on the entry fees (plan for $10 or
$15 if you're non-UF affiliated). Spread the word to everyone who'll be
interested!
To this end, we have decided to reserve the Court 2 for the playing of
matches so that those interested can focus on practicing for the
tournament. For those of you who wish to receive coaching (whether you
are just learning or want to improve your game), we will be placing
priority on Court 1 as practices courts. Courts 3 and 4 are open for
general recreational play.
The tournament will be open to all skill levels, don't be afraid to try
it out :-)
